Make me feel like a complete fucking idiot, why...
My mother called the store and I got to talk to them (is it not enough that I have a phobia of phones, do I always have to get the assholes?), and of course they’re blaming it on everything but the lens. “Have you made sure it’s not the body?”, “Did you shoot on auto or manual”, “Maybe you’re just not used to the aperture from using a different...

Got my Christmas lens today and of course it's...
I took a few photos indoors in fairly low light, when we got home, and it seemed fine but then I went outside and every photo turned out overexposed if I didn’t underexpose. Seriously, fuck my life. Now I have to deal with going back there and returning/exchanging it. I was so looking forward to this and it just turned into a bummer.

No, no, no. I want in. And I don’t care, it pisses me off knowing that some people got in but didn’t and don’t give two shits. Boo!

breakthrough-by-design reblogged your photo: thedailywhat: First World Problem of the… If the trailer ruins the movie for you then it’s 90% not well done. This used to be the case. Before, if a trailer contained all the interesting/important moments it meant that the people who made the trailer couldn’t find enough depth in the story and the movie was probably shit. Unfortunately,...

Medication time!
I’m going back on my meds tomorrow (technically today). The week before Christmas I decided to go off them because I wanted to have some kind of apatite for Christmas dinner. I did have an apatite. I couldn’t eat much anyway because it turns out my stomach’s not just fucked up while I’m on them, it’s going to take a lot longer than a week for my tummy to recover from...

kayweb answered your question: Stupid screenshots, why are you turning out all… Reset your display driver unless you’re trying to screencap a game in which case you may be unable to unless you use FRAPS It’s a game I’m trying to screencap and I remember it working at one point..maybe I’m just imagining, maybe I was using FRAPS but just having a major brainfart.

Booh, I went on a hunt for VHS' but came up empty...
Well, not entirely empty handed, I found a couple of Bond films but I was looking for Anastasia, Bartok, all of the Aladdins and all the other taped films and shows that I used to watch on repeat as a kid and it turns out ‘they’re probably in the attic’. I don’t trust my mother’s probably-s because she might’ve thrown them out and just don’t want to tell...

Ladies & Gentlemen, I give you, the 2012...
Michelle Bachmann: "Don’t misunderstand. I am not here bashing people who are homosexuals, who are lesbians, who are bisexual, who are transgender. We need to have profound compassion for people who are dealing with the very real issue of sexual dysfunction in their life and sexual identity disorders.” (2004)
Ron Paul: "The rate of AIDS infection is on the increase again. From the gay point of view, the reasons seem quite sensible. First, these men don't really see a reason to live past their fifties. They are not married, they have no children, and their lives are centered on new sexual partners... because sex is the center of their lives, they want it to be as pleasurable as possible, which means unprotected sex. Third, they enjoy the attention & pity that comes with being sick." (1995 in a newsletter)
Rick Perry: "I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a Christian, but you don't need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there's something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can't openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school. " (2011 in a campaign ad)
Mitt Romney: "I should tell my story. I'm also unemployed." (2011 while speaking to unemployed people in Florida. Romney's net worth is over $200 million.)
Newt Gingrich: "She's not young enough or pretty enough to be the wife of the President. And besides, she has cancer." (1994, about his first wife)
Rick Santorum: "Is anyone saying same-sex couples can’t love each other? I love my children. I love my friends, my brother. Heck, I even love my mother-in-law. Should we call these relationships marriage, too?" (2008)
Michelle Bachmann: "Carbon dioxide is portrayed as harmful. But there isn't even one study that can be produced that shows that carbon dioxide is a harmful gas." (2009 during a debate)
Mitt Romney: "PETA is not happy that my dog likes fresh air." (2006, when questioned about driving 12 hours with his dog in a cage strapped to the top of his car)
